Responsibilities:

• Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures provided by the regular teacher

• Maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment

• Support student learning and classroom engagement

• Take attendance and manage classroom behavior effectively

• Communicate any concerns or notes to school staff at the end of the day

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to adapt quickly and work with students of varying grade levels

• Must meet all state and school substitute requirements
