City of Cincinnati Mayor Celebrates HSA Cincinnati Robotics Team’s Journey to the VEX World Championship

🏆 Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati Robotics Team Honored by the City 

Cincinnati, OH — In a proud and inspiring moment for the school community, the robotics team from Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati was formally recognized by the City of Cincinnati during a special ceremony at INTAC. The honor, presented by the Mayor, celebrated the team’s outstanding performance in this year’s VEX Robotics competitions and their remarkable achievement of qualifying for the VEX Robotics World Championship.

The team, known as “Rock 'n Roll,” has demonstrated exceptional innovation, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the competition season. Student members Romante Boykin, Jerry Drew, and Isaiah Calloway were specifically acknowledged for their dedication and technical excellence, representing the very best of student achievement in STEM.

This recognition highlights not only the team’s success but also the growing importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education at Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati.
