HSAC Robotics Team Wins Big at King of the Hill Competition! πŸ€–πŸ†

We are proud to announce that the Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati Robotics Team, β€œRock And Roll,” delivered an outstanding performance at the King of the Hill event hosted by Bellefontaine City Schools on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

After a challenging start that placed the team at 18th, our students demonstrated incredible resilience and determination. They bounced back with a record-breaking 132 points in Match 3, and later secured 173 points in the final rounds, earning them the title of 1st Place Teamwork Champions! πŸŽ‰

During the judges’ interview, our team impressed with:

A fully developed engineering notebook

Clear and thoughtful design-iteration documentation

Excellent teamwork

Strong sportsmanship and communication

This earned the team the prestigious Judges Award, recognizing both their technical preparation and character.
