Taft Theater – Peter Pan Jr (October 24)
On October 24, 2017 50 fourth thru eighth grade students attended the second PBIS (positive behavior) field trip. This trip was to the Taft Theater to see the production of Peter Pan Jr presented by the Children’s Theater of Cincinnati. Students earned points for attendance, tardy, tardy to class and scoring an average of 70% or higher on accelerated reading quizzes.
The musical was fun, energizing and allowed our students to escape into a fantasy world of “never growing up”. Students continued earning points for the next field trip taking place in November to teh Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey Game. Thank you to those students are the going above and beyond in their educational journey at Horizon Science Academy.
